The Pencil. Press P and draw. Strokes follow the pointer and thin out with pressure if your input device reports it. A press that never moves leaves a dot, and a stroke that ends where it began closes, so it can take a fill. Pencil stays selected after every stroke, so drawing the next one is just another press.

Variable or constant width. A stroke can taper with speed and pressure, or hold one weight from end to end. The choice sits in the inspector beside Thin, Medium, and Bold.

Your style choices stick. Pick a colour, a width, or a fill and the next shape you draw uses it. This worked only before you had drawn anything at all; now it works always.

Triangle moved to G so that Pencil could take P. Everything still round-trips through compatible canvas documents, and hand-drawn strokes made elsewhere now open here as strokes you can edit.
